Privacy

Visitors

Trade Spoken has no accounts, no forms and no advertising, and sets no cookies.

It counts its visits. For each page viewed it records the page, the time spent on it, how far it was read, the site, search engine or AI assistant the visitor came from (its name only, never its address or what was searched there), the country and region, and the kind of device and browser. Visitors are told apart by a code made from the connection's address and the browser that changes every day and is never shown to anyone; the address itself is not kept. The browser's session storage holds, until the tab is closed, where the visit began and whether a notice was closed. A visitor whose browser asks not to be tracked (Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control) is not counted at all. The counts go to a measurement service shared with other directories and are used only to see how the site is found and read.

Every request for a page is counted too, with the crawler's name when a crawler made it. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard request logs for security and reliability.

Businesses

Businesses are listed from public facts: their Google Business Profile (name, rating, number of reviews, opening hours, phone and address) and their own website (the year they started, and the jobs it says they do). Trade Spoken shows no review text. A business can ask to be corrected or removed (Contact and removal).
